 I'm a scatterbrained and LOUD dork. I'm scatterbrained because I have horrible short-term memory. I am loud because my mother is Cuban and because I enjoy being heard. It's also a plus, because I like to annoy you and show you that I like being me and thinking what I think. And I'm a dork, because I like being one--it's the one last thing about me that is innocent. I always befriend the people that others like to pick on. I am protective, loyal to a fault, and I care very deeply about the people that I love. I don't believe that a human being should be judged PERIOD. I understand what it's like to be starving, on the street, or not the norm. I understand that the world is fucked up but that there is still always something beautiful to live for. I also understand that no matter how horrible the world is, I still want to be aware of what is going on, so that maybe I will help to make changes and in turn help others to do so as well. I forgive, even if it is after torturing somebody for a little bit, I do. I am lucky, and I met my soulmate when I was 13; yes, I am in a relationship with my best friend who I am still madly in love with (even after all these years and ups and downs). I could write many books based on my life (I plan on doing so eventually). I'm a tough bitch. I am sweet as sugar and reserved and polite, and I am also a street fighter and a fighter in general. I can throw down like a guy and I've been known to cause some damage especially when it has anything to do with my friends or family (especially Ted). I don't care about pretentious bullshit like class or saving face. I don't fake shit, and I generally just let people be as long as they don't mess with me. I can't stand FAKE people; if you don't like me, don't talk to me. I'm me and if you don't like it, I don't give a rats ass. There is nothing that I want that anybody can stop me from getting. I can break down any problem, get to the core of it, and solve it practically; I usually freak out and panic before I do this, but my sense of intuition, my emotional nature, AND my tendency to turn to practicality are what eventually guide me to the truth. In contrast, other times, even with all the wisdom I have acquired from my travels and experiences (you'd be surprised to hear about my life), I am naive and childlike. I want to believe that there is good in all of us, and I trust people too easily. Shame on you if you take advantage of me because I admit my weaknesses. I have no issue with admitting my weaknesses; it denotes strength to be able to laugh at yourself or to admit that you are affected by fear or insecurities. I believe that admission is the second step. Ultimately, I believe I am a good person. I make mistakes and I have my defenses, but I care and THAT is what defines me.
